## Project

Creator and developer: [Jim Maziashvili](https://jimweb.eu/).

Status: In active development.

Region: Brussels-Capital Region, Belgium.

My current project brings local news reports into a searchable view of the city. It connects reported incidents with places, dates and their original sources.

The map reflects incidents covered by selected news outlets. Coverage varies, so it should be read as a way to explore news reports rather than a complete measure of crime or safety.

## Features

### Explore the map

Locate reported incidents across the Brussels-Capital Region and see their geographic context.

### Narrow the view

Filter reports by date, commune, incident type and location to explore a particular area or period.

### Follow the source

Connect reported incidents with their original news coverage for context.
